La Trappe Quadrupel →
This is currently my favourite beer. I briefly enjoyed a Cologne pils over the weekend but now that I’m back in the Netherlands, I’m back to La Trappe.

Crystal Head Vodka →
Dan Aykroyd: “Thanks Phil. Now today, although the majority of vodka drinkers prefer absolutely no taste whatsoever in their beverage, we are confident that people will enjoy the very slight, creamy sweetness given to the tongue and palate, from a serving of Crystal Head, triple Herkimer Diamond filtered, Newfoundland deep aquifer, pure spirit vodka.”

McSweeney's Internet Tendency: Reviews of New Food →
For far too long, arugula held a bitter stranglehold over our salad bars. Then frisée entered and quickly exited our lives as the latest trend in roughage. Now there’s a newcomer, with a name that rhymes with squash. It’s mache, also called lamb’s lettuce.

I did not make it home without buying food today.
I decided to stop in at Quiznos to get one of those delicious buffalo club sammies for $2 but when I got there they had this $5 deal for a twelve inch. A sammy is like the smallest thing they have and the largest thing was only $3 more. Son of a bitch hey. I only had enough cash for a sammy too so I had to use my debit for $5.26. My Selection: Jalapeño Beef and Cheddar.
